Hello, yes it does seem to have an appeal & works somewhat, depends on what your selling.Personally found it worked but not to the level that I expected.So back to shipping & handling fees, however if there reasonable customers are fine with it.Everyone knows it takes time to pack & ship items, time is money.

Yes... same as most people would lean to buy something that cost $ 499.99 rather than $500.00

yes. nobody wants to get a good deal and then have to pay extra for shipping if they can get it somewhere else and not have to pay extra just for it to get there...

in the past ebayers would sell items very cheaply then hit you with a huge shipping fee. They did this because you could sometimes make more money on overcharging for shipping then the item. Today people are aware of this practice and now go for the free shipping items. And yes it is true that they are selling for more today because of this. Ebay overall is still a great place to get some good deals. Have fun.

Yes to the inexperienced buyer free shipping looks awesome… but yes the sellers just add the shipping price onto the price of the item…. another way they fool people is to charge like 99 cents for something like a CD and then charge 10.00 shipping…. then you receive the item and find out it cost them 1.99 to ship…. that really grinds my gears. There are lots of tricks sellers use on eBay.

yes its very enticing! i'd rather see "FREE SHIPPING" than $10.99 for shipping.

What makes you assume that women will, across society, exceed men in either power or income?

Sure, there are fields of study and areas of employment in which women outnumber men. But there are others where men still significantly outnumber women.

And even in the same fields and jobs, there may be more women, but if those women are taking a few years out to stay home with kids (or working part time, or just fewer hours because of the kids), the men will pull ahead in terms of income and promotions.

It depends on the seller. I was about to bid on something that looked cheap, and the shipping turned out to be $177. I don't overcharge for shipping, only what it costs me.

Of course! Who doesn't love free shipping? Especially with the way a lot of the sellers on ebay overcharge for shipping!!!!!!!!

It already did beginning in November 2007. A s the prices soar, more men are losing their jobs than women in the US. Well, get used to being literal when hearing the term: the man of the house...now, he's really the man of the house!
